This product contains active ingredients:
Vitamin C – Reduces inflammation & photoageing via its powerful antioxidant activity. Strengthens skin conditions to help repair and rejuvenate the skin.
Alphahydroxy Acids (AHAs) – Glycolic Acid, Tartaric Acid. Is a single strand molecule allowing for quick penetration into the skin. AHA’s are water soluble only.
Glycolic Acid – Smoothes and rebalances the complexion by promoting the exfoliation of dead skin cells and unclogging blocked pores. Outer layers of the skin are gently peeled away to reveal refined, fresher, younger looking skin for a more radiant appearance. Considered to be the most effective and suitable fruit acid for skin treatment products. Naturally derived from sugar cane.
Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) – Gluconolactone, Lactobionic Acid
Polyhydroxy acid is a multiple strand molecule due to its larger size. Its skin penetration is slower, with a gentler absorption rate, reducing any side effects such as stinging or irritation.
Betahydroxy Acid (BHA) – Salicylic Acid is oil soluble. This oil solubility allows the BHA to penetrate into the skin’s pores that may be blocked with sebum to unblock and dislodge any dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads.
NIACINAMIDE (Vitamin B3) – Anti ageing properties, anti-acne action, strengthen outer layer of skin. It is a form of Vitamin B3 which strengthens cellular bonds and tightens skin. As a result of this tightening, acne has a tougher time taking root. Research shows the stabilisation of the skin’s outer layer, has an anti-inflammatory effect which can prevent acne break-outs. Also works to assist rosacea. Shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in the skin. Prevents the skin from losing water content. Stimulates microcirculation in the dermis. Has a reputation to lighten skin.
